Caput in Arena covers Harvard University and its affiliates. We are particularly interested in documented cases where the institutional response to a legitimate complaint was inadequate, delayed, nonexistent, or referred to a committee that meets Tuesdays 2–3pm, Spring 2020.
We are not a law firm, a counseling service, or a formal grievance mechanism. We are a satirical publication with a sharp sense of humor and a genuine interest in institutional accountability. If something happened to you at Harvard that the administration decided did not rise to the level of a thing, we would like to hear about it.
Documented complaints that received no meaningful response. Course materials, assignments, or classroom incidents that crossed a line. Institutional communications that demonstrate the gap between what Harvard says and what Harvard does. Anything that would benefit from being rendered in the format of a formal committee determination.
Publication. Not every tip becomes a piece. But every tip is read by a human being who will treat it seriously, which is more than we can say for the Office of Diverse Voices, Selective Hearing, and the Management of Difficult Jews.
